Acoustic/Pop/Rock
15 MP3 Songs
POP: 60's Pop, ROCK: 70's Rock
Details:
Rain Songs is inspired by rain and relationships experienced in the following places: Belfast, Sheffield, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester and London, Mandeville, Kingstown Town, Ocho Rios, Negril and Montego Bay, Chicago, San Salvador and Central America.
The songs were originally recorded for the LP albums: Donât Call Us â Weâll Call You (Jamaica, 1982), Dance With The Rain (El Salvador, 1991) and Red Beans And Rain Songs (El Salvador, 1991).
Morena, my wife, kept insisting that I produce a CD version/compilation of my music whilst we were living in Colombia, South America. So who was I to argue with a public demand of one? Off I went into the Bogotá streets, found Luis Fernando Ochoa and Rain Songs resulted.
These days I make it my business to always enjoy what I do â life is too short. Upon reflection of those days I really enjoyed every minute of the music making process and interacting with the many fine people and musicians that I met whilst in Jamaica and El Salvador.
I hope that you will enjoy listening to these songs as much as I enjoyed making them.
Always remember: âYou can touch for that is real â Love will surely come your wayâ
