Terset is a female power trio from Brooklyn, NY that incorporates elements of punk, indie rock post-hardcore, and post punk dance beats to create their own hybrid. In 2004 singer/guitarist Susie DeFord and drummer Amy McLaughlin shared a common interest in Sonic Youth, Mission of Burma, Sleater-Kinney, Fugazi, PJ Harvey, and Shellac. They set out to create their own blend of their heroesâ music, adding earsplitting, yet harmonious feedback to catchy drum beats and ranging vocals to push their sonic intensity to the limits and beyond.

In 2005, Terset founded Airborne Panic Factory, a record label, small press, booking, promotional company. APF is currently working towards opening a non-profit gallery space for all-ages shows and a rock school for kids. A percentage of all income goes to APF and other international charities.
