'Le Voyage du Temps' is Allen Brunelle's 1st electronic music/new age release under the pseudonym, Tempustry. Tempustry is a name Allen created from the Latin word for time, 'tempus', and the postfix, -try, meaning 'the study of'. Allen has been studying time for more than 25 years. As a percussionist and drummer, Allen's number one responsibility has been to 'keep time' and to be the rhythmic force behind bands of many genres. 'Le Voyage du Temps' marks the first time Allen has been able to share melodies that have been long trapped in his mind.

'Le Voyage du Temps' has only one intent - to be an uplifting, relaxing, and peaceful listening experience. Liquid melodies set the ebb and flow of each composition. Orchestration, at times minimal and ambient, evolves and builds in positive reinforcement of monophonic synthesizer leads. All the while, an analog drum synthesizer and electronic percussion propel each song to its respective denouement. May Tempustry's music drift you away to a positive place.

Most recently, Allen was the drummer of celtic, world music rock band, TODESBONDEN (http://www.todesbonden.com). He previously drummed for progressive rock band, THE DARK AETHER PROJECT (http://www.darkaether.net), and can be heard on 'The Gentle Art of Firewalking' CD. Prior to DAP, Allen toured internationally with Neo-Progressive band, ILUVATAR (http://www.iluvatar.com).

Allen is currently working on 'Astral Gate', his 2nd CD release, which promises to be an all-out unrestrained assault of an innovative blurring of Berlin & Dusseldorf schools of electronic music. Tempustryâs live show will be equally unparalleled as Allen performs with a stage setup that boggles the imagination, surrounded by Moog, Oberheim, and Roland analog synthesizers, sequencers, vintage Simmons and Tama electronic percussion, Zildjian cymbals, Celtic Bells, and Tama Gong Bass Drum. Joining Allen on âAstral Gateâ in the studio and live on stage will be long-time friend and fellow synthesist, Jim Rezek (Iluvatar) on mellotron and synthesizers. Compositions will meld spacey and ethereal soundscapes, soaring leads, and subsonic salvos of electronic and acoustic motorik.
