The President and C.E.O. of Basic Life Records, Inc. is Mr. Vaughn M. Thomas (AKA Tease). Mr. Thomas was born and raised in New Bern, North Carolina. He was born on March 17, 1979. He graduated from New Bern High School in May 1998. After high school he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. While in Charlotte he a attended Central Piedmont and there he studied Business Administration. Mr. Thomas also became more involved in his true passion producing and performing music he created, creating independent films and music videos. He resided in Charlotte for approximately two years then he became home sick and moved back to New Bern. When back in New Bern Mr. Thomas continued his education at Craven Community College. While at Craven Community College he changed his major to Marketing and Retail Where he plans to achieve his degree. Mr. Thomas still has a very strong passion for music so strong that he has now combined his business skills and his passion for music to create his own record label, Basic Life Records, Inc.
