Ted Warren has been an accompanist for some of the greatest names in jazz including Sheila Jordan, Dave Liebman and Slide Hampton. After spending some twenty odd years as a sideman, he felt he needed to put his own band together to represent his unique vision of improvised contemporary music. He hired three of the best musicians on the Canadian scene to help him realize his goals. Guitarist Ted Quinlan, bassist Mike Downes, and trumpeter Mike Malone interpret Ted Warren's original music in a fresh, lively and invigorating way. Ted's music has been described as "A really weird Weather Report' and "The musical equivalent of eating cookies".
