Welcome to the debut CD, "To Fly Higher" by Terrry Graves. BRIUM RECORDS is proud to introduce this new CD where great melodies flow from fluent piano, producing a sound that is very much Terry's own.

Terry began honing his piano skills at the age of four. From his youth, with a perfect pitched ear and classically trained hands, his appreciation of various musical genres has served to make for quite an original and appealing blend of sounds.

Though classically trained, Terry had been in several rock bands through his youth. However, he progressively found himself writing his own songs which didn't exactly fit the rock genre.

The influences in his early years were wide and beneficial in cultivating the creativity/variety which is revealed in his compositions and improv today.

Here we have fourteen originals on his debut CD, "To Fly Higher". They supply a refreshing mix and blend of jazz/rock/improv (and a little "hard to classify") with a classical edge emerging through the melodies at times.
