Details:
The Jason Morris Project: Volume 1 contains music written and recorded by Jason Morris. Avoiding the traps of one-note albums, each track offers something new and exciting. While Jason played all of the instruments on the album, he enlisted the talents of several New York City vocalists to complete the tracks. This very personal album reflects Jason's diverse tastes in music, from rock and folk to rap and alternative.

Tracks include "Stay the Course" and "The World Can Bleed," which have the stirring qualities of a David Gray song. "Happy" and "Years Ago" capture the energy of 10,000 Maniacs. "Down" and "Time" conjure the intensity of
Pearl Jam. "Still Sleeping" and "Nothing to Me" remind the listener of Weezer. "The Best Thing" has an Alicia Keys vibe and "Fear of Robots" is a fast and funny cross between Rage Against the Machine and Tenacious D.

The Jason Morris Project: Volume 1 offers an eclectic mix for anyone who enjoys a range of emotions, energy, and styles in their music.
