Details:
I was born in Boston, Massachusetts on April 15th, 1982. I was born into a family of music. My mother just graduated from New England Conservatory, and my father was working on his PhD. She played the organ and piano, he played the violin for the M.I.T. orchestra. One of my earliest memories was of my playschool piano and matching notes with my voice when I was about 2. Iâve often had interest and have done projects in many forms of art including drawing, sculpting, painting, writing, and music of course. I moved to Detroit, Michigan when I was three. Throughout my school years, I played a number of instruments including the piano, the clarinet, the oboe, and I was in choir almost every year until tenth grade.

When I was 13, I moved to Albuquerque, NM. During my early/middle years in the desert, I found the rave scene. I attended events throughout my years thrown by the main production houses in Albuquerque, such as Family Moons. This experience and exposure to the dance/rave scene inspired me to make my first beat when I was 18. It was amateur at best, but there was definitely some potential. My whole life and all of my plans changed after my girlfriend of a serious relationship died in a car accident. Needless to say, at the time, I was completely wrecked and did nothing of any note for about a year.

Old friendships die hard, and in 2002 I met up with an old high school buddy and we started a business together. Over the past four years, Iâve been an entrepreneur. Iâve started five businesses. One of them was successful and I had another one on the way until about four months ago. But then, I had my revelation. The entire time Iâd been working on and managing businesses I wasnât really fulfilled. I realized that I had only been working on business so hard to try and âsecureâ a future for myself and do the things I really wanted to do after I made sure I had enough money. Then I realized that I didnât need set financial security (as in my bills being paid for without me having to work) in order to create a career out of my music hobby, or at least try it. I got that if I had confidence in myself and my abilities I would stop suffering through my businesses and focus on something that drives my passion. So here I stand today in 2006, on the brink of my new career in music. Iâve just released a limited edition first albumâ¦. Iâve decided to go independent with my music, and Iâm workinâ it. Iâm making contacts with industry professionals, got my website set up, got my CD Baby account set up, got my first 1,000 CDâs of an album that could tear a hole in the o-zone layer, and Iâm also moving to Japan.

I hope that youâll walk forward with me as I take this journey and never give up on me, because I will never give up, and I'll still keep makin' those beats that get stuck in your head all day.
