Tatiana has been making music for as long as she can remember. She started playing piano at the age of four; singing at the age of nine; and composing at the age of ten. Her first piece "Arabian Nights" was performed with choreography while she was still in elementary school. Then, she won "The October Prize in Composition" in Belgrade, Yugoslavia at the age of eighteen. Somehow, that prize influenced her life. Soon after, she was admitted to The University of Arts in Belgrade to major in composition and piano. She completed her BFA in 1988 and received a letter from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with an offer for a full scholarship.

Since 1991 she has been exploring the sounds of pop-rock, new age, and jazz fusion. She was then frequently involved as a singer, keyboard player and a songwriter, performing with several bands in Pittsburgh including: The Zee Steel Band, Seventh House, Sweet Madness (her own original band), and Side Effect Green (a cover band). Her original music has been influenced by many styles ranging from classical to progressive rock. She now presents a sound that seems very natural and comfortable for her. It could be described as a blend of progressive, pop, rock, new-age, jazz, and impressionism.

She successfully received her Master's Degree in 1992. Her pieces were being performed in Pittsburgh at that time. "Weaving a Nightmare", a piece for chamber orchestra, was performed in the Fulton Theatre, and "Interstice", a piece for symphony orchestra, was performed by Carnegie-Mellon University Orchestra in the Carnegie Hall.

In 1995, she continued her studies at the University of Pittsburgh, pursuing a Doctoral Degree in composition and theory. She received her Ph.D. in music philosophy in 2001. Many of her new works were performed as part of the "Life on the Edge" Concert Series at the University of Pittsburgh. She studied composition with renowned composers such as: Leonardo Balada, Eric Moe, Matthew Rosenblum, Ann Le Baron, David Keberle, and Paul Chihara. In addition, her pieces were performed in Bermuda at the Bermuda Festival and many other venues from 1999 until 2002.

Tatiana continues to compose both popular music and orchestral works. In the case of popular music, she likes to call her style 'Core-Age Rock'. She has a newfound interest in the music business and has started a new independent label, "Core-Age Records". Her company's goal is to network with other companies in hopes to bring fresh new ideas into the music scene.
