Through the years of learning to pray for her sons, Tanya Crump has longed to create a practical tool to place in the hands of young parents, something that would encourage them on in their journey as praying parents. She believes she is to take the role serious that older women are to train the younger women to love their children. As her two sons have grown up she has searched for practical ways to make the journey in prayer not as intimidating. Learning to turn her everyday scripture reading into prayer for her sons brought her comfort and strength.

Tanya lives in Texas with Bobby, her husband of 29 years and their sons, Chris (21) and Chad (17). She loves to encourage women of all ages, through disciple groups, facilitating Sunday school classes or bible studies, speaking to groups or just living life with them in treasured friendships.
