Details:
Soon after singer/songwriter Steve OâReilly and producer/guitarist Matt Anthony were introduced by a mutual friend, Tammany Hall NYC was created when the two musicians collaborated on a 5-song demo in the fall of 1997. The bandâs popularity quickly grew as they began playing power-acoustic guitar driven shows in a number of New York Cityâs hottest nightclubs.
Tammany Hall NYC has released three albums: Back in the Bottle (2000), Buddy (2003) and Eat This New York (2003). Their music has also been featured on a number of popular television shows, including âSex and the City,â âThe Sopranos,â âSix Feet Underâ and âScrubs.â
âWe are driven and compelled to tell a story with sound. People seem to be gravitating towards it, which only means that our music seems to resonate in peopleâs hearts. Fame is fleeting they say, but if you can touch someoneâs heart, your music will survive.â
