Details:
Originally released in 1995 on the Buy or Die label, this re-release on the Independent Records label contains only minor artwork changes.

This album represents the second official album released by Jack and his first solo effort. The first album released in 1987 on vinyl was with partner Brad Jarvis and was titled "TANNEHILL-JARVIS". (Jack's songs on that original release were later made available on a CD titled, "EARLIER LATELY|THE VERY BLEST OF JACK TANNEHILL")

Consider the following reviews of GREATEST HINTS as they appeared in 1995:
* Jay Lustig of the Newark Star Ledger said: "Painfully honest lines appear in virtually every song, making GREATEST HINTS an album that grabs a listener's attention. Equally important though is Tannehill's voice. He is in his 30's but he sounds twice as old singing in a weathered rasp that adds weight to his stories. Jack Tannehill's new album is full of 'strikingly candid sentiments'. Judging by this album, Tannehill truly deserves to go further with his solo endeavors"
* Bea Flatte of The Aquarian Weekly said: "Stop Right Now" sums up just how far astray this world and country have gone. Lets just say it's a wake up call...and a damn good one...he has found a way of talking about topics that affect each and every person on earth...everyone can find themselves in at least one of Jack's songs ...it's time to bring this guy to the forefront"
* Wayne Thorp of Out & About said: "Tannehill's gravely, passionate vocals and detailed song-writing have earned him a niche among North Jersey's troubadours. GREATEST HINTS is a solid and at times moving solo debut for Jack Tannehill..."
* Bill Nutt of the Star Gazette said: "Tannehill is saved from self absorbtion because he says so many things to which others can relate...intensely personal to the point of being confessionals, with the listener as his priest"
* Dan Hirshberg also of The Star Gazette said: "What makes Tannehill a different artist is that within his songs comes messages that mean something"..."for those looking for music with meaning, this CD is a must"

(Please note: Eventually this album will be available on most major digital music services where you may purchase the complete album or individual tracks.)
