Chris Tate, born in Charlottesville, Virginia, moved to Austin, Texas in 2002 to pursue a life-long passion for song writing and live performance. Meeting up with Jason Eagleburger and Jeremiah Streets, the three young musicians began exploring their different music and life influences and created a sound that is uniquely TATE. For three years TATE worked tirelessly to develop their sound and live performance and in 2005 released a double DVD/CD âLive from Austin, Texasâ. The album showcases Chris Tate on guitar and vocals, Jeremiah Streets on bass and keyboards and Jason Eagleburger on drums. The trioâs musicianship and knowledge of each otherâs playing styles becomes apparent as you watch TATE weave in and out of original scores effortlessly for extended jams and improvised hooks.
