Thereâs nothing greater than the Love of God and a love for God. Jerome âTru Yokefellowâ Williams Loves God and His Son Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Living in Kansas City Missouri for two decades,
a lot has happened since moving from his hometown of Ft.Worth Texas in 1984. Giving his life over to the
Lord in the spring of 2001,Jesus saved Jerome from a life of destruction, alcohol, abuse , street life, sex out of wed-lock & drugs. Jesus also spared Jerome from and early death out in the mean streets of Kansas City
Missouri.
One night while out with a friend at a local strip club Jesus in His mercy and grace intervened and stop a man from shooting Jerome in the head. There were more horror stories but that was the greatest impact that had an effect on Jerome. In the winter of 2000 minister Paul Cooper came to Jerome while he was working
on his solo rap cd and told him that God wanted us to do a Gospel rap album. Jerome was puzzled by the request because they had recorded 4 local gangsta rap albums with their underground group N.S.B. (North Side Ballas). But God was already working on Jeromeâs heart through a coworker at his job who took the
time to minister to him over several weeks. After a week are so went by after the good news minister Paul
gave him the Holy hip hop group âSaint Hoodâ was born. Mister Paul also carried the news to Jeromeâs younger brother Anthony and God was also dealing with him in his life. Soon after both were saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Saint Hood âs first release was âThe Spirit Of The Lordâ and the ministry begin.
Brother Jerome wanted a name out of the bible to be his moniker, the Spirit lead to Philippians 4:3 and
Tru yokefellow was the name , âit literally jump off the pageâ as quoted by TruYokefellow. Than in
2004 Saint Hood released their 2nd album âIn The Will Of Godâ which was a blessing to a lot of people.
Now in the summer of 2006 Tru Yokefellow released his 1st solo album âThis Is My Destinyâ to the world
continuing the ministry preaching Godâs Word through rapping in song.
This Project is for anyone insearch of God or just wanna hear bangin hip hop Tracks with clean lyric's. This album
ministers to the soul. You want be disapointed young & Old
