Details:
Travis Spencer (33) has been writing songs since the age of 12 & playing professionally since 15. He covered such standards as: Satin Doll, Mood Indigo, Makin Whoopee, and contemporary tunes. After sitting-in with different bands he gravitated to a sound known as Fusion or Funk/Jazz. On the contemporary side he played: Wayne Shorter's "Endangered Species" Chick Corea's "Electric City" and Joe Sample's "7 yrs of good luck" to name a few. As a highschool freshman Travis met the Yellowjackets in a local music store in his hometown of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He has never stopped writting this kind of material since. The Yellowjackets remain one of his biggest influences to this day. Along with Russell Ferrante's style of comping, Travis took to: Ahmad Jamal, Joe Sample, Bobby Lyle, Chick Corea, and George Duke. Although his preference is progressive material, he is no stranger to other generes. In 1993 he help produce RCA Recording Artist SWV with a Triple Platinum Remix of "Downtown" with Allen "Allstar" Gorden Jr. They collaborated on other projects as well in the Hip-Hop Arena. Prior to that situation Travis was signed to Hush Productions Home to such artist as: Najee, Freddie Jackson, Alex Bugnon, Melba Moore, Mark Nelson, and more. If the album had been recorded, the line-up would have been:( Saxophonist) Najee who agreed to produce the project, (Bassist) Victor Bailey, (Drummer) Omar Hakeem (Vocalist) Vesta and more.Travis continued to practice his craft producing local artist for gratis. He also donated time to ABCD for the youth programs and Stay-In-School workshops. Scoring plays and spoken word events. In spare time when he's not playing Keys he enjoys playing Bass and whatever else he can get his hands on.

Travis is a multi-instrumentalist as you will hear on this debut project. It stems from his childhood. His father William White is a Classic Soul Bassist/Vocalist. He was the force early on behind the discipline. Challenging Travis by giving him a Keyboard/Guitar/Drumset and Multitrack recorder at 12 yrs old for Christmas. No formal training only a record collection of R&B/Funk and Jazz to learn off of. It wasn't until years later one of the artist he started to collaborate with on a regular basis pushed him to stop pitching tapes for a record deal. Raynelle White Singer/Songwriter decided that the 100's of songs they wrote over the years should not go to waste. So she formed Frozen Dreams Entertainment Inc. and he recorded the "Lunar Paradise" project in a week and released in August 2005 and packaged it in house. Lunar Paradise is the first project off this Indie Label. Look for updates on live performances. He will be out there nationally as well as producing other acts for the label. Also lookout for the sophmore project early 2006 which will be a double album with special guest.
