âLONG SHOT PAYS OFF FOR SINGERâ From Iowa homemaker, wife and mother of three to center stage with Bobby Vinton in Branson. In 1992 Trish [Loftus] Fevold [FEE-Vold] was encouraged by her husband Larry to pursue a singing career in Branson. With no formal musical training, her experience was limited to a part in a community theaterâs production of âOklahomaâ , and singing with backup tapes. She auditioned for show after show then one month later was singing on one of the most beautiful stages in Branson. Sound like a long shot? Since being discovered by Bobby & Dolly Vinton, thousands were able to enjoy her incredibly versatile voice. First with Bobby Vinton for 5 seasons singing memorable songs from "Phantom of the Opera", Broadway hits "Never Walk Alone", "Memory" (Cats), "New York, NY" and "Chicago" just to name a few. Trish was also featured with The Glenn Miller orchestra singing, âAt Lastâ, "Serenade In Blue" and âKalamazooâ. Her voice has been compared to Christine âPhantom of the Operaâ, Streisand, Judy Garland, Connie Francis, and Ronstad. Trish also loves to sing country hitâs like Walkinâ After Midnight, Crazy, and Thatâs What I Like About You, to name a few. Trish is able to sing Classical to Country in a style all her own. Branson Reviews âHer voice will touch your soul and she will leap right into your heart quicker than you can say âIOWAâ. And just like her debut on the Blue Velvet stage, you will never be quite the same againâ "Speaking of Trish Fevold, Bobby Vinton discovered a jewel of a voice here. The back by popular demand duet medley from "Phantom Of The Opera" proves it. It takes a lot of vocal strength to produce this kind of Broadway sound.", "One of Branson's most dynamic vocal stylists.", "Branson's Trish Fevold, a former Iowa farm girl, will take your breath away with her powerful vocal artistry." "Also performing with Vinton is Trish Fevold who is considered one of Branson's hottest rising stars.", "Her vocal prowess ranges from melancholy ballads to Broadway opera tunes.", Trish, with her Auburn hair and Sparkling Hazel eyes, was nominated as Branson's Newcomer of the Year in 1995, and nominated Female Vocalist of the year, 1996. Trish has appeared in major theatres and venues throughout the country including Nashville, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Chicago, Tampa, Phoenix and Philadelphia, to name a few Look for Trish's new Christmas album coming soon.
[BIO] Trish (Loftus) Fevold [FEE-Vold] The excitement of performing with superstar Bobby Vinton, and the renowned Glenn Miller Orchestra was a thrill that this one of nine children growing up on an Iowa farm would ever experience. Trishâs husband (married now 36yrs June 06) , Larry, encouraged Trish to pursue a singing career. He left his teaching job in Iowa and her children gave up their friends so Mom could pursue a chance in Branson. A huge jump from singing with back-up tapes at the V.F.Wâs and other local events. After achieving what many would say is âFameâ, Trish realized that family is the most important. Trish left Bobbyâs in Dec 97 to pursue other career opportunities and have a more flexible schedule so she could spend more time with her children. She has been performing specialty concerts around the country. Friendâs have been waiting for her to return to Branson and 2007 is the plan for her new show. Trish says âGod has blessed me with the ability to sing and I tell everyone that they are also blessed with at least one if not many special gifts [abilities]. Singers are center stage but without the audience weâre nothing. I saw first hand how hard everyone worked at the theatre to put the show together. Sound, Lighting, Costumes, Office management, Ushers, Concessions, Travel Hosts, on and on. Everyone deserves the applause, I applaud Momâs, Dadâs, homemakers, our armed forces, all service people who work so hard to make our lives safe and comfortable. While performing in Branson Trish made so many new friends that she will cherish always. âFame, I realized, lasts only a short while, family and friendships last forever.â
