Classic Blues-Rock with thoughtful, Christian-themed lyrics
13 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Classic Rock, BLUES: Rockin' Blues
Details:
"It's a Wonderful Life?" is a concept album in the vein of the Who's "Tommy" and Michael Sewell's "Heart in A Box". A man troubled by current events (Entertainment Today), copes by hiding behind sarcasm and cynicism (It's a Wonderful Life?), television (My Television) and romance (She is Everything to Me). When confronted with an unwanted pregnancy, he and his girlfriend decide to have an abortion. In spite of an intense dream he has about his unborn son (Don't Tear Me Apart) they go through with it. This ends up putting a wall between them and she leaves him, forcing him to re-evaluate the meaning of life (What am I to Believe?).
Realizing his life didn't turn out like he thought it would, he is compelled to pursue for himself the claims of the Bible. This leads him to a confrontation with himself and with God, and he is led to change his ways (Steppin' out of Hell). Immediately, he is confronted with the conflict of wanting to pursue the truth and the temptation to go back to his old ways (At War With Myself). Broken, he feels empty and cries out to God for help
and salvation (Trust in You).
Now humbled, he starts to appreciate the gifts he'd taken for granted. he decides life can be wonderful when you humble yourself before God and receive Jesus as your
Savior (It's a Wonderful Life!).
With his new found faith, he boldly exhorts non-believers to reconsider Jesus' claims (Find Your Faith in God) and encourages believers to rejoice (Rejoice & Shine Your Light).
