Colin Adams presents his first solo album, Life & Lessons To Be Learned. The album features ten tracks collected from songs written by Colin during his time with The Rolling River Band and since their last album release in 2007.

Life & Lessons To Be Learned continues in the same style as The Rolling River Bandâs sound with a modern fusion of folk, rock, country and blues but Colin has turned to his Scottish roots for his solo work with vocals displaying a distinctly Scottish accent compared to his early releases.

The album features Paul Lamberton on guitar, who has added such depth to the songs with his country/blues/rock leads and riffs and Colin Bruce also lends a hand by playing on the title track.

The album is based on life and the highs and lows it brings. Good times, bad times, meeting new friends, losing others. We all have crazy stuff going on in our lives that we deal with day to day, some more than others but we all just have to try to make the best of the life you have.
