Eddy and Dan played music together for the first time in late September 2010. The session went so well that just a few short hours later; they decided to hit the stage and play live. After this performance, the band was born. However, with Eddy living in Milwaukee, and Dan in La Crosse, it made playing together difficult. They worked around this by sending demos back and forth, practicing individually, and playing together whenever possible. This has all culminated roughly one year later with the recording of their first album. With a sound consisting of a mixture of blues, rock, and folk, the album has a, "something for everyone," kind of feel. They decided to call the band "The Deathless Dogsâ a reference to the fact that no matter what the obstacle, the music refuses to die.
