"Yung Tunez" born Chaquan, was brought to this world in October 13. Growing up in a single parent home, he had to learn to be the man of the house at a early age. Watching over his lil brother while his mother worked, he took on various roles: Man, Brother, and Role Model.

As time went on through his young life, his mother got married, and "Tunez" role changed from man of the house to teenager. "Tunez" started to learn that even as a young man is sometimes just as hard as being a man. "Tunez" still has responsibilities doing some of the same things but was lacking in his school work. While his Step-Dad was deployed in the U.S. Army, "Tunez" grades hit the floor, and he started to do his own thing. With adjusting from teenger back to man of the house "Tunez" was brought under much more stress and started to write. With music always in his head he put his feelings and thoughts on paper but, with no direction.

"Tunez" Step-Dad returned back home and realized the stress his Step-Son was going through, but also noticed the talent which laid within him. He told him to get his grades to at least 2.0 and he'll buy him some studio time. "Tunez" being smart, he brought his grades up and acheived a 3.0. Now realizing he can do alot if he keeps his mind in the game, "Tunez" not only got that studio time but was picked up by an Independent Label which worked with him and gave him the tools to be successful.
