Details:
From the hard edge sound of "What Is It Now" to the sweet piano ballad "Never Got To Say Goodbye," Rebecca Torrellas' debut album shows both her musical and vocal versatility. The alternative rock sound of No Hard Feelings provides a variety of musical styles, rare of an artist who writes his or her material. In addition, Rebecca's catchy melodies and passionate lyrics give the album the necessary ingredients to depict the different dimensions of human emotion. Her lyrics lead listeners through a journey of self discovery. The mood peaks with the emotional successes of tunes like the rock song "Take A Look At Me Now," a song about beating the odds, and rock pop tune "Not So Innocent," a song about learning from mistakes and moving on with life. It also hits the valleys of emotional distress with songs like "Turning Blue," which opens with the chilling question, "Are you a prisoner in your own skin?"

Rebecca knows no limits when it comes to her music, including on stage. With high energy and strong vocals, her live shows captivate audiences the moment she steps up to the microphone. She also receives consistent vocal instruction from renowned vocal teacher Debbie Beinhorn, who has taught such artists as country musicâs Clint Black. She currently performs around Texas with an energetic and talented four-piece back up band. On Aug. 4, 2001, Rebecca and the band had the opportunity to play at the Stevie Nicks Concert at the Woodlands near Houston. More recently, Becca and her bandmates Marcus Roberts and Scott YZ had the chance to star in pro-skateboarder Todd Falcon's latest skate movie "Call to Fly." She has also made several appearances in Austin's South by Southwest and College Station's Northgate Festival along with recording artists such as Vertical Horizon, Vallejo, Dexter Freebish, Blue October and Pushmonkey. Currently, Rebecca and the band are back in the studio to record another album already titled "Let the Drama Begin."
