Writing and Equipment:
David Lane brings in the riffs. On this recording his guitar is panned hard to the right. His parts were recorded with his humbucking Gibson Les Paul Special through Marlow's excellent 1963 6G6B Fender Bassman Amp through Weber 12F150 speakers. Rick Moore and David then work out the guitars and a working structure. Rick Moore recorded his parts with a P90 equipped Gibson Les Paul Special through a Victoria 45410 with Weber 10A125s. His guitar and vocals are panned hard to the left. Brandon Arnold then applies the bass guitar while Mack Cole applies the drums, and the entire group finalizes the structure. Brandon recorded with his Fender Jazz Bass through an SVT Classic with stock Eminence speakers. Mack recorded with his Pearl Export Kit. At this point Rick writes the lyrics and vocal melody, and Brandon applies a vocal harmony. Brandon's vocals are panned hard to the right. Once the song is practiced and its structure tweaked for vocals, it is ready to record and play live.
