This three piece rockband that hail from the ever buzzing city of Amsterdam is one of the hottest and freshest bands to hit the music scene. The passion they put into their music brings a new mix of rock, electro and heartfelt soul. Shad-O-Seeka the frontman off the trio describes the music as N.E.R.D versus Queens of the Stone Age, meets Frans Ferdinand. Add to that the South American, African and Asian origin and musical influences shared between the band memebers and you get this new music unit.

Founder of the band Alvin Lewis(Shad-O-Seeka) has been working with different artists for the las couple of years. Among them were Zuco 103,, Berget Lewis, Giovanca, Michael Franti, Sister Sledge, Lee Scratch Perry, Leon Ware, Food For Funk,Brainpower and many more. After a period of recording, writing, performing and producing he decided to start the band SEEKA.

Seeka would like to bring back new dynamics to music using just the sounds of a guitar, bass and drums and a touch of electro. The basic ingredients for Rockstravaganza. A combination of years of experience in music and young talent does the trick.

SEEKA already did opened up for acts like N.E.R.D., Living Colour and will support the upcoming tour of Pete Philly in october 2011.

The band lays the emphasis on hardwork and a gradual introduction. SEEKA views a quick introduction the same as an orgasm, good but for a short period. If that is the case then view Seeka as Tantra.

In the near future an full length album is expected. This album will have all of the above mentioned ingredients.
