LONG ROAD

Someone once said, âEventually, every touring artist writes songs about THE ROAD.â True? But Long Road goes beyond road weary calamity and happenstance. The song is a lament to the troubadourâs overpowering desire to be free, bordering on addiction to continual motion. This âanywhere but hereâ wanderlust might be come by honestly, but it might also simply hide an inability to maintain connections.

âLong Roadâ is the second song on the new LMB album, âJohn Lennonâs Bedâ produced one song at a time, until all 10 songs are ready to compile into a CD format. Linda McLean wrote the lyrics and developed the music in partnership with guitar playing Andy McLean. Gary Craig played the drums and contributed some great feel ideas to the beds, John Switzer played the bass and produced the song.
