Out of the small, sleepy country town of Shelby nestled in in the foothills of North Carolina comes a 25 year old Dustin Borders AKA Big Tyme waking up the industry. Motivated by a brush with death from a near fatal car accident, Big Tyme has been going hard in music just like his days on the football field as a nationally ranked defensive end. With a hunger and drive that won't quit, Big Tyme puts his heart and soul on tracks to tell his life story.

A natural born hustler, Big Tyme was raised to be his own man and "get it" any way he can. With a family deeply rooted in music, he always collaborated with his cousins Dwayne and Josh Spikes (members of R&B group Metal Roze). Doing mix tapes and grinding. As time went on Dwayne became partners with Marquis Bridges and Brad Gregory and formed the production company Globetrakkers.

In 2008 Big Tyme teamed up with the Globetrakkers and honed his craft and polished his skills to become the most intimidating MC in Shelby. He participated in and won several talent shows with his street flow and commanding stage presence. Realizing that Big Tyme is growing into a true rap star, The Globetrakkers and he are currently working on his debut album. Big Tyme is now ready for the world to hear, but is the world ready for him?
