Details:
"Kangaroo Waffles & Other Treasure" from award winning singer-songwriter Tommy Gardner (of the Uncle Brothers) is the latest parent-friendly CD from Blackwater Records. Although his first CD, "My Candy Tree" was produced for the 7 and under age group, this CD was written and produced for ages 4-12.

There are 12 original songs and two covers (he also wrote new lyrics to "If You Wanna Be Happy"). Getting airplay already are "Next Harry Potter" (about a child who dreams of becoming a famous author), "Choices" (great character education song), "Halloween Parade" (a new island version), and "Kangaroo Waffles".

His popular songs , "Bully Bubba", "Lunch Trade", "The Gnome", and "One" are being used in elementary schools and many teachers have raved over his song, "Summertime", as it perfectly captures the feeling of the last day of school.

He recorded his version of Harry Chapin's, "Flowers Are Red", which he's always wanted to do. He felt this song, although not traditionally a kids song, should be presented to kids and teachers to not only remind them how special teachers are, but he wanted to introduce Harry's music to a whole new audience.

"Delightful & entertaining!" Parents Guide magazine

"I loved watching (Tommy from) the Uncle Brothers and you will too. The kids were totally involved, had a great time, and learned meaningful things (messages) as well"
