Details:
On this my second album I decided to go with a more acoustic approach. This CD is recorded in a way to accentuate my songwriter approach focusing mainly on my acoustic guitar and voice with subtle accompaniments by other instruments which is indicative of how I play in my live shows.
Influences from my international travel have also made their way into this CD. The more obvious examples are in the songs Belizean Wind and Fields of Chianti. More subtle though is the influence of what Iâve seen and how itâs made itâs way into my lyrics. Itâs hard to travel so much internationally and not start to see things from a different perspective. A good example of this is the song Long Time Here.
People tell me that my music has a sense of hope in it. Itâs music that should be listened to. Itâs fine as background music but youâre missing the point if you donât slow down enough to listen. Take a moment to listen.
