With a voice ranging from tenor to second soprano, this songstress who joined the all adult choir at the tender age of 8 and became the choir director and teacher at age 13, can stand with the best of them. Her philosophy is "Whatever your gift is, it should make a positive difference in someone's life." Tina has been compared to great artists like: Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Sarah Vaughn and Angie Stone. Her style is rich in Gospel, R&B, Neo-Soul and a hint of Jazz all rolled up into one sound that is distinctively, unmistakably, Tina. What else can be said about a woman who has done several concerts, choir workshops and has given vocal lessons all without a vocal lesson herself. Well here are a few accomplishments:
1984 - 1987 - Soloist for the Black-On-Black Love Campaign (Chicago)
1987 - Recorded a commercial jingle for the Chicago Transit Authority and commercial and tradeshow voiceovers for Soft Sheen Products.
1988 - Participant in the chorus of the Play "Gospel Truth" starring Tramaine Hawkins and Johnny Brown of TV series "Good Times".
1993 - Recorded and toured throughout Sweden, Copenhagen and Denmark with recording artist, Rev. Jessy Dixon.
1996 - 1997 - Recorded, traveled and was a featured vocalist with the Chicago Mass Choir.
1996 - 1 month tour in Italy as a featured vocalist with the Chicago Gospel Choir.
1996 - Featured in a 1-hour concert at the Taste of Chicago
1998-1999 Travleing throughout us and Canadada with recording artists vernessa Mitchell. Whose formally with Motown's 70s recording artist 'high energy'.
1999 - 2003 - Featured In Concert in Sweden (Consistently returning for Encore performances).
2001 - On a 6-week tour with the Brown Sisters of Chicago as a featured vocalist in Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland (No relation to the Brown Sisters)
2004 - Made her Acting Debut as a main character in Chicago's Black Ensemble Theater Production of "Somebody Say Amen". The play was extended 4 times and is currently touring nationally and internationally.
2005 - Releasing her 1st Single Recording titled "Welcome Home" with Thou Records Inc.
