Details:
Fabletown is Tim Scottâs debut album and has already earned him comparisons to folks like Lyle Lovett and John Fogerty.

Tim has been playing the guitar since the age of sixteen and has been writing lyrics since as long as he can remember. His mother recalls his extraordinary writing abilities at an incredibly young age and joins a long list of fans that are equally impressed with the subject matter and story lines Tim is able to produce.

As a young boy Tim would often sit in his room for hours listening to his favorite Lps: The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Dan Fogelberg and Dennis Wilsonâs Pacific Ocean Blue. He also enjoyed watching classic movies from the 30âs and 40âs, at times setting his alarm clock to catch the 2:00 a.m. showing of Errol Flynnâs Captain Blood or John Wayneâs Stagecoach before setting off for a full day of school.

Timâs love for classic movies is apparent when he makes reference in his title track, âThere was Gable and Grant, Errol Flynn, the Duke and I.â The piano rifts take you back in time to an old western saloon or a prohibition era speakeasy. âAll I need is my imagination. In Fabletown I make up my own story lines.â

Aside from writing the lyrics and music for all ten songs on his cd, Tim also plays rhythm guitar and sings all lead and background vocals. His songs are layered with a wide range of instruments that achieve the mood and feel he intended and keep them honest to the stories they tell.
