Formed from the ashes of various failed experiments and fatal crashes, Shockwave Rider began slouching toward their own Rock Bethlehem in a lonely storage facility in Richmond, VA in early 2003. From their humble beginnings as one of the first non-Canadian power-trios, SWR has evolved into a classic 4-piece rock behemoth in the tradition of the Who, the Replacements, and Puddle of Mudd.

Shockwave Rider features Matt Morrissette on guitar and vocals. Part fragile poet, part rock warrior, he WILL move you.

On lead bass guitar, young gun James Pemberton supplies "the thunder down under," as well as a seemingly endless supply of empty beer bottles.

And no rock band is complete without a set of bickering brothers. Curt Nunnally, lead guitar and vocals, is the bastard son the Edge and Angus Young tried to abort. Suffer his wrath!

On drums, recording, mixing, and technical support, older brother Phil Nunnally is the last known "Renaissance Man". Most rock diehards rank the Nunnally bros. below the Davies and Van Halens, but above Nelson and the Proclaimers. Not too shabby.
