Since forming in July 2000 there have been over 700 "Ticklish Allsorts" performances presented at theatres, festivals, schools, town halls, country fairs and community celebrations across five Australian states and overseas in New Zealand and Russia.
Produced by Splash Theatre Company "Ticklish Allsorts" has released two CD's (Ticklish Allsorts and Are You Ticklish Too?) and has had songs included on several compilation CD's. The first CD won a Children's Music Web Award in the USA in 2003 and was nominated for an ARIA Award.
The prime audience for Ticklish Allsorts is children aged 3-10 years and their families. The shows are interactive and fun with the children joining in by copying the dance moves performed on stage. The group is known for the variety of musical styles employed, tight harmonies, cheeky fun and excellent connection with its audience. The songs are consciously written to introduce a variety of musical styles from around the world and themes to the young audience.
In Australia "Ticklish Allsorts" has appeared at many leading music festivals and venues and has completed a pilot for a television series ("Ticklish TV") aimed at 5- 8 year olds.
