For taking the time to listen to music out of the main stream.

Time Will Tell......
is a collection of songs that have been bouncing around
my head for the last fifteen years or so.

This CD represents my starting point. These are songs that on the one hand, I could not throw them away, but on the other hand I really could not move forward until I finished them.
So I finished them! LOL

Some are full songs with vocals and some are short and instrumental. What I call musical outbursts! I have enjoyed writing and playing all of these things and I really believe others will enjoy hearing them.

If you want to know my thoughts and reasonings behind the creation of these songs please read on. I will try to tell you a little about each song.

"A Day" The first three songs have this main title and each have their own subtitles. Sunrise, Sunshine and Sunset. Each one I tried to catch the feel of that time of day, well I think you get the idea........

"Low Tide" I tried to make the music build and crest and release.
Like the Tide.

"Wakeup Call" This is my adventure into electronic sounding music. It still is guitar based music but NO soloing and a kind of rolling main theme with the bass carrying the song.

"I Miss You" I used a different approach to writing this song. I am a guitar player at heart and I always will be. So I used a guitar player's thought process. I thought, what if I set up a nice rhythm like you would a rhythm guitar, but used a piano. Then did some tasty soloing around that rhythm, also on the piano. I think the results are very beautiful.

"Cheese Cake" Is just a fun jam! Kind of Jazz-Metal. LOL

"Recuse Me" This is something I wrote for my current wife. I wrote this at a time in my life when I was very alone and unsure. She rescued me. Thank you, Dez.

"Bar Room Blues" This is my tribute to last call. Drink up and dance hard, because this is your last chance to close the deal.

"Let the Rain" This is a great song to listen to if something or someone is bothering you. Don't let it get to you, "Let the rain wash it away"

"The Chase" This is a guitar based song with just a few twists and turns. So crank it up and don't let them catch you!

"Once in a Life" I wrote this song for my first wife about 15 years ago. I think it has a very nice melody and very deep lyrics. But I hope I was wrong. If we only get one chance at love, we are all in some real trouble.

"We got the Rock & Roll" This is your basic Happy Metal Anthem. This is the only song with other musicians playing on it. I included this song as a "Shout Out" to the old band.

"So Long" I was told by phone at about 3am my father had died. At 6am, I sat down at the piano and this is what came out.

To me, music is emotion.

If I can make you feel something, thats what it's all about.
