Details:
T.G.O. Nation (a.k.a. The GolgothA OssuarY) hails from south Texas bringing a Euro-style electronic trance / techno / industrial sound to the masses in an A.D.D. apparent mix of electronica that is sometimes sharp edged in its message.
Why this name?
The name T.G.O. Nation came about after discovering that many people had extreme difficulty remembering (or even pronouncing) "The GolgothA OssuarY" which is comprised of two unusual words which mean 'skull or a place of torment and torture' (golgotha) and 'a charnel house or any place of storage for the bones of the dead' (ossuary).
Band History:
The name of the band was originally conceived in the late 1990s when GolgothA (a.k.a. David Vavich) first tried his hand at software based music production which resulted in the song "AssemblY MasteR" which was a light trance/dance tune that received intermittent regional club play.
Real life and necessary career decisions resulted in the abandonment of further musical excursions for several years.
Your influences?
Old school trance, techno and industrial, Ministry, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, NIN, Skinny Puppy, BIGOD20, Level 42, Front242, Combichrist, Depeche Mode, SiNDADDY and too many others to name.
Favorite spot?
Houston, Texas has some of the greatest nightlife anybody could ever ask for.
