The T.K. CONNECTION is made up of some of the finest musicians in Cornwall. The band have now released their new album 'A Different Face' which has been creating a stir on the local and international music scene with its seriously seductive mix of original commercial funk, latin, rock, ballads and swing.
Singer/songwriter and front man for the 8 â 12 piece outfit, Tony King put the band together during the spring of 2004 and after a hectic schedule of rehersals the band went into the studio to record their debut EP (The spicy prawns of Mr. Kong) shortly after which the band were invited by the famous Cornwall funk stronghold, Bosuns Nightclub in Penzance to play their well remembered debut gig.
Producer of the EP, Dare Mason of the VIP Lounge, was so impressed with the material and the performance he agreed to produce the new album 'A Different Face'
Since 2004 The T.K. CONNECTION have been invited to perform at The Eden Project, The RAF Christmas Ball, Crystal Palace football stadium, and on CH4 television. Tracks from the album are regularly being played on both local BBC and national commercial FM radio stations as well as nightclubs both in the UK and abroad. Whenever the band have played their live show, the crowd reaction has been tremendous, and the band now has fans as widespread as the U.S.A and Australia.
One of the tracks from the album has found its way onto the fantastic compilation album The Best of the VIP Lounge vol 1 which has recently been released.
The T.K. CONNECTION remain independent, unsigned and Cornish.

CONNECTION are now off to promote the album around the world for a bit.The band are also in talks at the moment about headlining shows later in the year at The Eden Project and Crystal Palace Football stadium. The band have also talked about possibly re visiting the famous Bosuns in Penzance, which is where they played their debut gig.
