Not often enough, does a band come along and remind you what great musicians can sound like. This is painfully obvious when you listen to the no-questions-asked rock of twelve34. twelve34 are technical, creative, melodic, genre jumping, and know how to put on a rock and roll spectacle.

Representing the sleepy city of Orleans Ontario, the members of twelve34 grew up playing music as much as they could between pond hockey and video games. Originally formed in 2003, by Eric St-Cyr and Jasen Colson, the band has seen a few lineup changes and have finally found one that they can call their own.

Both first albums, Stop Abusing Yourself (2004) and 'nkyou (2005) were completely self produced and recorded by the band themselves, giving them the freedom to let their creativity and multi-instrumental abilities be fully explored, but for their next release, which is currently being written, they look forward to the chance of working with producers in a professional studio environment.

Their most recent release, 'nkyou (2005), contains 16 tracks and showcases the songwriting of all of the band members, and features the radio singles "Too Damn Late" and "Hold".

The immediate future for twelve34 looks promising, as they plan to take every opportunity that they have available. twelve34 are definetely a name to know and to look out for.

Already garnering the reputation of one of the tighest, exciting bands to watch in Canada, twelve34 plans to ride that wave and continue in 2006 to turn heads.
