Zero Tapestry is a Seattle based duo that combines elements of Drum & Bass, Down Tempo, Chill, Ambient and cinematic soundscapes. This combination gives Zero Tapestry a unique and dark musical texture.

Details:
Zero Tapestry formed in 2002, Jim Deal and Mike Rand set out to create original music that recognized no boundaries and paid no allegiance to any genre of music. This framework (or lack thereof) suited Jim and Mike well. After years of improvisation with Sub.Con, Mike and Jim felt it was time to harness the creative potential and sit down and write some songs and soundscapes. This took a while to get off the ground, but by 2004 the musical identity of Zero Tapestry was set, the goundwork complete and more than a CD's worth of material produced.
Being the perfectionists that they are, it took a while to settle on the right set of songs for the CD and then to polish those songs to present the best music possible. The debut cd from Zero Tapestry, "a gravity of its own" was released in 2006 and is now available.
