Bishop Mark C. Tolbert is Senior Pastor of the Christ Temple Church, 3400 Paseo Blvd. in Kansas City Missouri. Under his leadership they have established a charter school, an absitenece training program, which partners with schools and other agencies to teach the importance of abstinence to teens. Christ Temple is also building the second phase of the Lee A. Tolbert Community Center, a facility that is used for the teens of the church and the community, serviing over 650 youth per week. Under Bishop Tolberts leadership the church has grown from an attendance of 350 in 1989 to over 2000. The over all thrust of Bishop Tolbert is to see people live a victorious life through the power of God's word. Bishop believes that there are no obstacles too great to stop anyone from succeeding. With the correct mix of God's word, faith building and hands on instruction, Bishop Tolbert is convinced that he can coach the average person to excell and grow spiritually and financially.
