Music is ministry and when God gives one a gift it is to be used for His Kingdom. I am so humbled to be blessed with the gift of singing. I thank God for the opportunity to bless someone through music, often times people need to hear the voice of God that calms, comfort and soothes their inner most troubles which can come through song.

I have been involved with various music entities since the tender age of 8 years old. Singing, playing the piano and reading music was the highlight of my life then, and has lingered into my future. I never realized the anointing that God had placed upon my life until Feb 14, 1988 when God filled my soul with the precious Holy Sprit. And from that day forward music became ministry not just singing.

My first musical ministry took place at The Church In The Name Of Jesus Christ (Home Church) under the leadership of Bishop Tyrone Cawthorne Sr. (father), I also directed the Choir and played the piano. My father was very adamant about me learning music, which caused me to rebel, however he saw something in me that I could not see and I thank my parents for pushing me and helping me to find my destiny.

Life has allowed me several opportunities in music and one of the most memorable is auditioning for the Gospel Recording Group Trinity 5:7 in 1998. One of the group singers Channel and I have been friends since the age of 12 and she has been a continuous inspiration to me throughout this musical endeavor.

Trials and tribulations are a part of life, but now the Lord has revealed to me that this is the time to show forth your love for me through worship. I am honored and blessed that God allowed me to complete my first project âNo Longer the Sameâ and I look forward to many years of service to the Kingdom of God through the ministry of music.

God has blessed me with a wonderful husband who is my friend, confidant, and manager. I have two handsome sons who love the Lord and singing Gospel music. I am a willing vessel committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and pray continually for fresh annointing so that God may use me for His glory. I am so thankful and grateful for the things that God has done, is doing, and is going to do in my life.
