Details:
ZOG WELINSKI'S DAY OFF - Groundbreaking electronic sounds with a future/retro feel. The story behind the name is known only to muso Eddie Kinrade, who may reveal its origins if you buy him a beer.
In the late eighties, the project started as 'Caldera Rose' and 'Photino Birds'. An AtariST driven collection of Casios, Yamahas and one grouchy Korg produced some very odd lo-fi music.
A studio revamp in the mid nineties saw a change of sound and name. ZWDO was born. In the early naughties, ZWDO signed up to Birminghams own Earthrid Records, allowing the music to escape into to wild via official CD releases and live gigs. From here....anything can happen...
------------------------------------------------------------
"THE FIRST DAY OFF"... is the first of two CDs which collects the earlier work of ZWDO together. Reviewers have compared the material to everything from The Orb to Erasure (!), whilst still having a distinct style of its own.

"the darker instrumental doppelgangers of Erasure... all pretty easy on the ears" - Modern-Dance magazine

"Great music... moments of pure pleasure" - Pascal Blin, Sweet Ohm (France)

"This music had a delightful listenability without ever lacking thrilling excitement" - Scribus Toasticus (USA)

"the most boring CD ever... piece of shit..." ReGen webzine (no pleasing some people!...)

------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE SIR, CAN I HAVE SOME MORE...A second collection of early material is in the pipeline, as well as a third CD of stuff happening RIGHT NOW! But if you can't wait, then visit the official ZWDO homepage (http://www.zwdo.com) which will provide more information, as well as some free MP3 downloads.
