"Liquid Soul" the new CD from Gemini Soul f/ Ajamu Akinyele is musically inspired by bassists Stanley Clarke, MeShell Ndegeocello, Marcus Miller, the smooth sounds of Sade, and pianists Dave Brubeck and Michael Cain. Gemini Soul's new release "Liquid Soul" gives you the ultimate experience in a new direction in jazz...Cyber Jazz.

Ajamu Akinyele & Jon O'Bergh are back with their new release "Liquid Soul," which features new original music, plus favorite standards such as Peggy Lee's "Fever," Stanley Clarke's "Yesterday Princess," Sade's "Kiss of Life" and "Hang On To Your Love," and Dave Brubeck's "Take Five." "The Chocolate Factory" written by Jon O'Bergh, is a track from his anticipated upcoming project "Song of Fire." The entire CD is produced, arranged, composed, and performed by Andre Marcel Ajamu Akinyele and Jon O'Bergh, known as the Cyber duo "Gemini Soul."

Producer/bassist Andre Marcel Ajamu Akinyele, pronounced Ah-jah-moo + Ah-kin-yay-lay, and pianist Jon O'Bergh have produced a solid CD that captures your spirit and soul, while providing a unique sound called "Cyber Jazz - Funk Fusion," continuing to redefine jazz for a new generation.

Jon O'Bergh plays keyboard and piano giving a "live" feel to the overall production as Herbie Hancock, Tori Amos, and Dave Brubeck would do, while Ajamu Akinyele plays bass laying down pure cyber funk as Marcus Miller, Stanley Clarke, Prince, and MeShell Ndegeocello would do.

Andre Marcel Ajamu Akinyele, pronounced Ah-jah-moo + Ah-kin-yay-lay, recorded as MARCEL from 1998 to 2004 and has had independent success with several releases in the San Francisco Bay Area, Europe, and Japan. As MARCEL, he released five CD's ranging from Funk to World, but as Ajamu Akinyele, embarked on his first jazz CD titled "Supernova," in 2005 and his double CD "Black Magic The Cyber Jazz Experience" in 2006, all available right here at CDBABY!

Jon O'Bergh has written and produced 5 CDs, including "Carta," which was #1 nationwide on the NAV chart; "Meditations from a Lost World," which reached #3; "Sacred Spaces"; and "Millennial Landscapes," which reached #2. He also co-produced songs for MARCEL, now known as Ajamu Akinyele, on his 2003 release "Uptown : 2025 A.D.," and for the R&B recording artist JARROD on his debut CD "Every Part of Me," which are all available right here at CDBABY!
