GEORGES CHATELAIN is one of Franceâs best known sound engineers and composers. He worked with such well-known international

The Pentangles, the Jordanaires (Elvis Presleyâs backup group), Joe Dassin, Françoise Hardy, Cano Caoli (Japanese artist),
and appeared as an actor in Franceâs poet-film maker Jean Cocteauâs â Le Testament dâOrphéeâ.
Georges also worked with celebrated French songwriter Jacques Revaux (of My Way fame) and Claude-Michel Schoenberg, composer
of The Miserables and Miss Saigon.
Georges wrote words and music to a song which has, over the past 40 years become an evergreen in the Netherlands, â De Clown,â
with more than 30 cover versions including those by Ben Cramer, Franz Bauer, James Last, Ronnie, Pierre Kartner/Vader Abraham and Dario.
