Versatile composer and recording artist Jon Galfano switches gears from his last three solo piano albums to record a new guitar CD entitled 'Simple Man.' It represents a very anticipated 'back to his guitar roots' album for his fans everywhere.
The 13 cuts will take you from the ambient and meditative 'Echoes of Fire, Winds of Change, Fantasyland' and 'Spirit World,' to the pure solo guitar work of 'Dakota Train' and 'The Cat's Meow,' to the straight-ahead rock of 'Southwest Highway' and 'Blue Monday.' Galfano plays all the stringed instruments on the album, including acoustic, slide, and electric guitars and basses.
Also known for his vocal works, he includes two ballads with the melodic 'Sleeping Her Life Away,' co-written by Sharon Laura Williams, and 'Forever' a whimsical cut Galfano first wrote and recorded in 1982.
This one hour, six minute album presents a very wide range of very interesting songs and top-notch guitar work from Jon Galfano.
