Hello Friends
I am the inventor of IMINKE

My love of music is a singular driving force for me. The early years of my life I listened to the radio and played cd's. All my friends and I listened to pretty much the same stuff. I was exposed to other more classical and new age works at home.
One day a very good friend with a guitar said lets jam. For me that meant I had to bug my folks for a guitar. Eventually I bought one and with the help of my friends father I learned to jam. After his passing from cancer, we developed a jamen group and for a few years worked at roc in various forms.
The group thing never got off the ground. The usual conversations, discussions, and more got in the way of any real progress. I did however develop a pile of tunes that belong to me over time. My dad said I should record everything I do just as it comes out. In this way I would be able to recover the work at some point, and continue with them.
Well, as I continued working with instruments my music required more equipment. This brought a new dimension to my work. One day I burned a cd with some of the tunes I was working and asked my folks to listen. My mom and dad know what they like and don't like. The process of making them happy was and still is a challenge.
I love roc, and they love it to. I was surprised to find out that I liked the laid back instrumental with a roc flavor added to the mix. This is where the key board and drum set in combination with various guitar rifts all came together for me.
We talked about a name for my music. Then all of a sudden inke popped up. There it was, like a gift from heaven my company was born. Unfortunately there are some real bad web sites associated with the name inke, so we improvised and came up with IMINKE. Anyway, I think I like this better.
IMINKE is growing. My first work is now published and with each tune I create, the quality and professionalism listeners demand is reaching out to you. If you will be patient with me, I will not let you the listener and hopefully my fans, down.
I look forward to passing on to you the joy and Good Times I feel while living, through my music. My Blood comes up from Francsis Drake, Wales, Ireland, and blends with German and Canadian Iroquois. From these rivers my quest in sound blends cultures and traditions with flavors in an ocean of sound and rhythm, enjoyed here. My exploration may never end. For like the pirate Drake, I will find my way around the world.
