Great Churn - it's all about music. Discover it. I write and mix music in such a way that you the listener could experience an unforgettable event in each composition. Initially I started composing when I saw how an audiologist with the help of an advanced hearing aid helped a little girl to hear music and speech for the first time in her life. Her eyes suddenly became alive and shiny as if she was asleep for her entire life. Ever since Great Churn is dedicated and committed to a task of bringing the sensation of sound to the hearing impaired. The name Great Churn was picked out of a dictionary by me when I was 10 years old. I'd like to thank legendary musicians Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Yello and Art of Noise for the influence. Thanks to KORG for creating my favorite keyboards. My CD's are made only with professional equipment. I used music industrie's top professional software "Cakewalk Sonar 6 Producer Edition" and Korg keyboards so expect fantastic sound quality experience. You will be amazed by the atmosphere of this compositions once you listen to it on good equipment. In dolphins in Canada you will hear wind and dolphins as if they were present in your room, I kindly mixed for 10 hours straight to create this effect in this song. So I gave a CD to my friends and they told me "WOW they really were transformed to a beautiful place" This is what Chele from Hawaii wrote me after listening to this track: "Wow...your new song "Dolphins In Canada" is exquisite...it allows me to experience the crystalline beauty and exuberance in the world of dolphins."
Special thanks to Emiel and Stephanie Leonidas. Most of all i'd like to thank my brother who bought me a guitar for my birthday when I was a kid. Also I thank Armen for telling me about Art of Noise and Yello. Very special thanks to my old buddies Andrew and Simon from Riga, Latvia. And also I'd like to Thank YOU for listening.
If you're considering or already bought a CD, I thank you with all my heart for your support.
