Hi everyone...my name is Phillip Henry, the producer of the album GODSPEED. I just want to send some shoutouts to some important folks! First of all, Most thanks to the Allmighty Creator of everything...Who was, Who is, and Who is to come. Amen!!! I came on board as producer after meeting Mr. ETEL TULLOCH, and the rest of people at SHAMMAH, and Instantly developed a great relationship with them. After hearing some of the songs, Mr. TULLOCH, or LUKE as I normally call him, expressed to me the Universal direction he would like this Project to be!! I became very excited, as I also saw the same. Being that we are both from Jamaica, we not only wanted the Sounds of our Country, but also from the rest of the World. So we started at HCF studios about 3 years ago-one of the places where i have worked with countless reggae stars and different artists for at least the last 12 years...much respect guys!! We then went on to the COOP studios, owned by Mr. Crispy Chicken, one of my great musical partners. He engineered, with the help of Paul Katz, while I laid the tracks. We also brought in some of the Big Boys to do their thing...you will see them on the credits, including what and where they performed. We have Mr HABIRT CHEEKS III and Mr. LEZLY MING on Drums. We have also my brother, Mr. DAVID HENRY, on Bass, Mr. KYLE SCOTT on Percussion, Mr. OMAR KABIR on trumpets and trombone, Mr. CHRIS (crispy chicken) LAYBOURN on saxes and flutes, Mr. SIDNEY OJOFEITIMI on keyboards, Mr. Kim Jalim on guitars, and Mr. ETEL TULLOCH also on guitar!!! Guest lead vocalists include MELISSA SANTOS, MIKE KIRBY, EMMON, VIVIA RICHARDS, JERRY ELCOCK, SONIA ELLIS, and FRANK ELLIS!! We also have KIM JALIM and LUKE TULLOCH on background vocals, as well as ANDREA, JANINE and SHERI ELLIS. Thanks to KEITH COOPER for handclaps. We then moved on to Mr. GERRY COMITIOs SONIC studio, home of many hit recordings, where we finished recording overdubs, fine tuning, etc. Then Gerry mixed and mastered for us. FFolks you have got to hear this recording!!! Not to boast, but over the last 20 years I have worked on many many hit recordings worldwide. As many people know, the biggest was SHAGGYs "HOTSHOT". The songs ANGEL and CHICO BONITO had over 12 million sales** That is why I am so pleased with GODSPEED. Everyone that has listened to it so far has all agreed.
