Hansâ vocal styling and musical creations can only be described as original. Some have called it World Music meets Elvis meets Jimmy Buffet with a touch of Rock. Together with his wife Karen, he has written songs that have given hope for many years in many places. His recordings and live performances help people to realize the love of God extended to humanity, regardless of condition or background. This exceptional ability comes from his unique life experiences and struggles.
An Austrian-American, Hans came to this country at the age of nine speaking only German. Realizing his drive and musical talent, his parents took him to try out for the Ted Mack Amateur Hour at age twelve. This ignited a spark that took Hans through many bands and club performances in his youth. He spent time touring the East Coast performing before thousands. He also spent twenty years enjoying great success as an Elvis impersonator.
From 1975-1979, Hans ran a booking agency working with some of the greats in the entertainment industry such as Freddy Fender, Tammy Wynette, Lynn Anderson, the Platters, the Drifters, and many, many more. While working with Del Reeves in the studio, Hans discovered a new love, recording. He began to make plans to fulfill this new musical love, but his plans would have to wait.
In 1995 Hans entered his lifeâs darkest hour. After losing everything he was left with no where to look but up. He found hope and comfort in the words of the Bible, and returned to his musical love as a means of sharing his newfound faith in Jesus.
Karen DiGiorgio met Hans in 1999 and they quickly realized something special. Marrying shortly thereafter they discovered their mutual love for songwriting and formed another partnership. Together they have written over fifty songs that Hans has recorded in studios from California to New York and Florida.
Hans and Karen have recently teamed up with PBMG records and producer, CL Brinkley embarking on another musical journey. The result has been an eclectic sound that directly reflects their travels and experiences.
