Giant Steps is a seven piece ska band from Albuquerque, NM, featuring an in your face horn section and a tasty rhythm section. Giant Steps released two full length CDâs - Technicolor, released in 1996, and Feel The Thunder, released in 1998.
Known for their live shows, Giant Steps garnered a large and loyal regional following and shared the stage with such ska notables as No Doubt, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, the Skatalites, the Toasters, the Scofflaws, the Specials, & Selecter, to name a few. Giant Steps toured the Southwestern parts of the country and in 1997 played on the ESPN Summer X Games Tour.
Giant Steps was formed in the early 90âs and featured members of previous Albuquerque giants Beat Fetish & Cool Runnin's.
