Born and raised in South Florida, Marianne first got the music bug from her father, a crooner from the big band era. She developed a love for the eccentric and emotional aspects of song from listening to Jane Siberry, Anita O'Day, Frank Zappa, Howlin Wolf, and many others. Her music has been called both sensual and sweet, endearingly funny, and soulfully insightful.

With the addition of a family, Marianne has settled down in Southwest, Washington but she still tours Florida, the Mid West, and the East Coast. "A seasoned performer who knows how to sing,swing,rock and groove."
