Born and raised in Jamaica Queens, Flawless was influenced by the many talented artists who have changed the face of the rap game. The Q-Borough is no stranger to harboring many top-notch MCâs and judging by the slick, creative rhymes that FLAWLESS brings to the table, there is no doubt that his name will be added to the boroughâs list of great lyricists. Whether youâre the type of person who club-hops or who just wants to hear socially conscience music, Flawless brings all different aspects of Hip-Hop to the forefront without compromising quality and creativity.

Growing up in Jamaica, Queens provided Hans with the harsh reality that the streets can be an inspiring but tough place to succeed. He knew that he wanted to make a better life for his single mother who raised both him and his older sister. During his sophomore year in High School, he was amazed by the lyrics a classmate would spit during battles at lunchtime. It was then that he realized he wanted to start rhyming and someday become better than the classmate he admired. âHe had a Big-Pun flow. Everything he said was so creative and different from how everyone else rhymed. Everybody talked about guns and things like that and it got boring to me. When I started rhyming, I would always take my time and make sure what I was saying would get peopleâs attention. Thatâs when one of my friends told me I tried to make everything I wrote âflawlessâ and thatâs where I got the name.â From then on, Flawless went on to being the most well-known and respected MCâs in his school, winning almost every talent show until he graduated. Since then, he has sparked interest from various major labels such as Sony Urban, Violator and Def Jam. Asked why he hasnât signed to any majors or indies as of yet he responds, âToo many kids drop out of school so they can rap or sing. Life never guarantees you anything so I always want to have something I can fall back on. I also hope I can be a role model someday and let kids know that education is important. Maybe I can break the common âdrug dealer to rapperâ cliché.â

Knowing that he wanted to expand his knowledge in the music field, Flawless attended Full Sail Real World Education in Orlando, Florida where he earned an Associate of Science degree in Recording Engineering. During this period, Flawless auditioned for P. Diddyâs Making The Band in 2003 where he placed in the top 25 among 4000 people. Of the 25 who made the cut, only 10 were MCâs. Recently in 2006, he auditioned for Micheck Entertainmentâs MTV sponsored show called the Red Carpet Tour and has made it to the final selection. The participants consist of the best artists auditioned in 12 major cities. With his dynamic and attention grabbing stage performances, you can see why this MC stands apart from the rest. There is a sense of professionalism about him that would fool anyone into thinking he was a Veteran in the game. Flawless has performed at and won many showcases across NY including B.B. Kingâs, Remote Lounge, Nightingale Lounge, Chetty Red Night Club, Don Hillâs, Pyramid Loungeâs Training Camp, Joeâs Pub, City Night Club, Groove, Cotton, and Avalon. This also includes opening up for other artists. Flawless is also on many DVDâs including âWhatâs Really Hood Vol. 8,â âHip Hop Uncensored Vol. 7,â and many more to come. He has also been featured on various mix tapes alongside notable artists such as Ludacris, G-Unit, Jadakiss, Jay-Z, Nas, P-Diddy, Dipset, Young Jeezy and others.

From his pretty boy swagger to his slick (or erase the âLâ in slick) flow, Flawless displays all-around talent and marketability that will ensure longevity in the music industry. Making hits definitely comes easy when you have the type of focus that this Queenâs native has. As he continues to grow and master his craft, Flawless will undoubtedly transform his dreams into reality.
