If Jerry Seinfeld or Larry David wrote songs, it might sound like this.
11 MP3 Songs
POP: Quirky, POP: 60's Pop
Details:
You don't have to be Jewish to enjoy "Kvetch 22," but it couldn't hurt. A collection of catchy pop tunes with silly lyrics, the CD has already been called the "Sgt. Pepper of Jewish Humor."
"My father would have kvelled (been proud) and would be laughing," said Erica Heller, the daughter of "Catch 22" author, Joseph Heller.
The "Freddy" of Freddy & the Froy Boys is Fred Goodman, a 40-year veteran of the music business. He has written several international hits, including "We Belong to the Night," which was a #1 record in Holland, Belgium, Australia and New Zealand for Ellen Foley.
For his "day jobs," Goodman has been the editor of several music business trade magazines, including Record World, Cashbox and Pro Sound News as well as a freelance writer for many other music publications. He was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware and currently resides in Ossining, New York with his wife, Chris.
Goodman has also performed in an NY-based oldies band, Hot Wax, and has performed his one-man song parody act on stages from NY to LA. His parody of "I Am the Walrus" ("Carrots and Walnuts") has been played on Dr. Demento's radio show, and can currently be heard on the Beatles-a-Rama Internet radio station.
